MouseSoftInit=<Boolean> Default: True Purpose: Specifies whether Windows should convert INT 33h function 0 hard initialization calls to function 33 soft initialization calls, which do not reset the mouse hardware. If enabled, you can use a mouse with a non-Windows application that you start in a window. Disable this setting if the cursor and screen information appear garbled or distorted when using the mouse with an application. If you disable this setting, you may not be able to use the mouse when running a non-Windows application in a window. To Change: Use Notepad to edit the SYSTEM.INI file. |
