Epson FX Format Conversion Issues

EP2DCX emulates all Epson FX-85 printer functions except the following:

: Those functions that don't make sense in the fax environment, such as
unidirectional mode, immediate print mode, sound beeper, and deselect
     printer.

: The reverse line feed parameter is limited to 30/216" maximum.

: Every time a new print job starts, all printer settings are
initialized to the default (power-on) values.

: A maximum of 99 output pages per print job is allowed.

: Printer command errors in the input file are ignored as they are by an
FX-series printer. However, to protect against accidentally trying to
fax output formatted for a different printer, EP2DCX terminates the
conversion if it detects more than five command errors on a page. A
few programs purposely send a large number of command errors to the
printer, knowing they will be ignored. Such programs will trigger
this protection mechanism. The /O parameter is provided to circumvent
the command error count protection mechanism. This option can only be
used when EP2DCX is run from the DOS command line or executed by an
application. It cannot be used with FAXPOP.
